Her passion and curiosity for “Nutrition” evolved while seeing a variety of acute and chronic cases and more so during her pregnancy. She was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia in spite of a healthy diet and suffered with the most common symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, brittle nails, cold hands and feet, and shortness of breath. She was determined to give birth to a healthy baby in a healthy environment.

She realized the critical role food plays in the prevention, progression, and management of (both mental and physical) health disorders and was inspired to learn more about nutrition to help herself and her clients.

​“Nutrition” is key but more importantly, not only does the food we eat matter, but also how the food is assimilated in terms of cellular nourishment is of prime focus. Analyzing, correcting, and treating the nutritional deficiencies that impair the normal biochemical and physiological processes in the body became essential. This curiosity encouraged her to embark on further studies in "Functional Nutrition".


Functional Nutrition is a dynamic process rooted in Functional Medicine, which involves improving diet and lifestyle, and understanding the uniqueness of your biochemical, metabolic, and physiological processes, to restore optimal health. It is an unique system with an approach to support healing at the cellular level. It addresses the imbalances in the body at a much deeper level by looking at the root cause. It takes a holistic route to health by restoring function through personalized nutrition, lifestyle, whole self nourishment, mind- body connection, and including supplements/botanical herbs when necessary.

Her own health journey has been an inspiring one: losing 20 -25 lbs of post pregnancy weight, working out regularly to be physically fit while challenging herself with new activities, correcting thyroid levels by stimulating thyroid cell regeneration, and tapering thyroid medication, overcoming hypothyroid induced anxiety symptoms with the help of Functional Nutrition and Homeopathy. She enjoys helping as many individuals by educating, encouraging, and sharing her own health journey and transformation.
